Bhutan Cultural Tour

Paro Arrival
Soon after you arrive at the Paro International Airport, you will be received by the Swan Tours representative who will further accompany you on a drive to Thimphu that is your first destination in Bhutan. Soon after you get transferred to Thimphu, you will enter the hotel where you are dropped and check-in the same for an overnight stay in the capital city of Bhutan.

Thimphu to Punakha transfer
After having the early morning breakfast, you will be visiting the Thimphu valley, TashichhoDzong, that is the amazing monastery housing the most of Government offices and King's Throne room. From here you will visit the National Library having a good collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts and texts. Post the daytime spent well, you will be transferred from Thimphu to Punakha and check-in the pre-booked hotel and stay overnight after dinner!

Punakha / Wangduephodrang / Paro
Soon after having the morning breakfast, you will start off a drive for reaching PunakhaDzong, followed by a drive to Wangdiphodrang visiting Dzong and local markets where you can find a lot of bamboo products slate and stone carvings. Post lunch, you will set out on a guided drive to Paro. On arrival in Paro, you will carry out the check-in formalities and stay overnight after having dinner!

Paro local sightseeing
Post the early morning breakfast, you will depart for the guided sightseeing tour in Paro's exotic places that are worth the visit and attention. Proceed to the Taktsang Monastery that is also known as the Tiger's Nest that consumes 5 hours of your day, followed by a visit to Ta Dzong that is The National Museum of the Kingdom and the RinpungDzong that is both a Buddhist monastery and fortress. After the day comes to an end, return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Departure from Paro
Eat the morning breakfast and start with the packing for checking out of the hotel and proceed to the International airport in Paro followed by an end to the 5 Days Bhutan Package.

- Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle other than mentioned in the itinerary.
- Sustainable Development Fund/SDF of Rs.1200 per person per night will be applicable from June 2020 onward.
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes) etc. to be borne by the client directly.
