Day 01 - Siliguri/Bagdogra to Phuentsholing

Once you reach the Bagdogra International airport, you will be warmly welcomed by the representative of Swan Tours who will further assist you in a transfer to Phuentsholing. You will be dropped at the pre-booked hotel, after your arrival in Phuentsholing, post which you will check-in the same for an overnight stay after dinner.

Day 02 - Phuentsholing to Thimphu

Wake up to the morning breakfast, and start with your departure to the capital city of Bhutan that is Thimphu and en-route enjoy some sites namely, the mighty Eastern Himalaya. Once you arrive in Thimphu, you will check-in the hotel and stay overnight soon after having dinner.

Day 03 - Thimphu Sightseeing

Soon after the morning breakfast, you will start with your next tour that is the local sightseeing in Thimphu. There are a lot of places that you will find in Thimphu namely, Takin Zoo, BBS Tower, Chang Gangkha Monastery, Buddha Point, Changlimthang Arena & Archery ground. Afternoon visit Tashichho dzong (Outside view), National Memorial Chorten, Government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts shops where there is a bevy of items to shop for souvenirs. Later, stay overnight in the hotel after having dinner!

Day 04 - Thimphu to Punakha/ Wangdue via Dochula Pass

Post you wake up to the morning breakfast, you will be set out on a guided tour to Punakha or Wangdue after check-out from Thimphu. En-route cover the Dochu La Pass that is elevated to a height of 3100 m, followed by Mehsina Village & Chime Lhakhang. Soon after reaching Punakha, you will visit Punakha Dzong & Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery in Punakha and later, have something and check-in the prescribed hotel. Stay overnight!

Day 05 - Punakha to Paro

Wake up to the morning breakfast, and check-out to depart for Paro as your last destination in Bhutan. It will take you four hours to reach Paro, after which you can check-in the prescribed hotel and relax. Post this, have lunch and go out for some sightseeing at, Ta Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong (historically relevant), Drukgyel Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang and so on. Later, get back to the hotel and stay overnight!

Day 06 - Excursion at Chele La pass from Paro

In the wake of the early morning breakfast, you will be accompanied on a guided tour to Chele La Pass and Haa Valley that is the border of Bhutan and China with the former being elevated at a height of 14,500 ft. You will experience beautiful rhododendron & pine forest along with the sight of Mt. Jomolhari. After enjoying the lavishing views and strolling along the places, return to Paro and stay overnight after the wonderful day out!

Day 07 - Departure from Paro

Start your last day with the morning breakfast and pack your bags to check-out of the hotel. You will be dropped at the Paro International airport from where you will board the flight home. This concludes the Chennai to Bhutan travel package.
