Chennai to Bagdogra Airport to Paro - Transfer to Thimphu Hotel
Your Bhutan tour package from Chennai commences in Paro. After meeting our representative on arrival at IXB Airport (Bagdogra International Airport), you are transferred to Paro.
Pickup from Paro Airport & transfer (65 km – 1.15 hrs drive) to Thimphu. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Thimphu.

Thimphu Sightseeing
After morning meal visits Takin Zoo, BBS Tower, Chang Gangkha Monastery, Buddha Point, Changlimthang Arena & Archery ground. Afternoon visit Tashichho dzong (Outside view), National Memorial Chorten, Government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts shops. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Thimphu to Punakha/ Wangdue via Dochula Pass
After permit (Permit is not issued on Saturdays, Sundays & Govt. holidays) drive (70 km/ 2.30 hrs) to Punakha/Wangdue, with a stop en route for tea at Dochu La Pass (3,100 meters), where on a clear day you can obtain spectacular sights of the Himalayas. En route, you can see Mehsina Village & Chime Lhakhang. Visit Punakha Dzong & Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery in Punakha. Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue.

Transfer To Paro
Morning transfer (160 kilometers/ 4 hrs) to Paro check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Paro.

Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and after that walk down the route to visit Rinpung Dzong which has a long as well as interesting history. Afternoon visit to Drukgyel Dzong, the messed up citadel where Bhutanese repelled several invasion by Tibetan armies. Later see Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest as well as most sacred shrines of the Kingdom. Return at hotel. Overnight at Paro.

Today is your farewell day for your Bhutan Tour. After breakfast drop to Paro airport.
